Step into the ancient Art of Calligraphy as the Musicality of Being, where Art meets Mindfulness. Neoillusion Calligraphy session is designed to help you master the fundamentals of Chinese calligraphy while exploring its deeper spiritual and artistic elements. Over the course of the five sessions, you will be guided through the fundamentals of calligraphy, including the graceful flow of brushwork, the symbolic meaning of characters, and the connection between mind, body, and art. The sessions will cover basic strokes, character composition, and expressive calligraphy techniques. You will also explore the meditative aspects of the practice, finding peace and mindfulness in each stroke. As you progress, you will be encouraged to develop your own style, balancing traditional methods with personal expression. Each session is two hours and is fully immersive in the practice, allowing for comprehensive learning and exploration. Students Will Learn and Gain: — Basic Brush Strokes: Learning the foundational strokes of Chinese calligraphy, such as horizontal (heng), vertical (shu), and slanted (pie, na) strokes. — Character Structure & Composition: Understanding the structure of Chinese characters and how to create balanced, harmonious forms. — Brush Control & Movement: Developing the ability to control the brush with precision while expressing fluidity and grace in each stroke. — Expressive Calligraphy: Learning how to imbue personal expression into traditional forms, balancing discipline with creativity. — Meditative Practice: Incorporating mindfulness and inner calm into each stroke, using calligraphy as a meditative and spiritual practice. — Symbolic Meaning of Characters: Exploring the deeper meanings behind Chinese characters, such as those for harmony, balance, and eternity. — Connection of Mind & Body: Developing the awareness of how your physical movement influences your artistic expression, akin to dance, music, or life itself. — Personal Style Development: Encouragement and guidance in developing a unique style of calligraphy that reflects your own artistic identity. — Integration with Tea Ceremony: Discovering how the practice of calligraphy complements the flow and grace of tea ceremonies, forming a holistic practice. The Neoillusion Calligraphy course is suited for Creative Individuals, Meditative Practitioners, Cultural Learners, Body-Mind Practitioners, Personal Growth Seekers and Spiritual Artists.
Cancellation Policy
Booking: To reserve your Neoillusion Teaism Ceremony, we require full payment for Single Session at the time of booking; 50% payment for Healing Kits and Course Kits. Once your booking is confirmed, you will receive a detailed itinerary, including the date, time, and location of the ceremony Please note that all bookings are subject to availability, and we encourage you to book well in advance and secure your preferred date. Cancellation: Cancellations made at 7 days hours prior to the scheduled ceremony will receive a full refund. Cancellations made 3 days prior will be eligible for a 50% refund. Unfortunately, cancellations made within 24 hours of the ceremony will not be refunded, as we dedicate significant preparation to ensure an exceptional experience: Rescheduling: If you need to reschedule, we are happy to accommodate one complimentary change if requested 2 days prior to the ceremony. Rescheduling requests made with 48 hours of the ceremony may incur a 15% rescheduling fee, subject to availability. We understand that unforeseen circumstances can arise. In the case of emergencies, please contact us directly, and we will do our best to assist you. Late Arrivals: Please arrive promptly at your scheduled time. Arriving late may reduce the overall experience, as ceremonies are carefully timed for flow and harmony. If you anticipate arriving more than 15 minutes late, kindly notify us. Depending on the circumstances, we may need to adjust or reschedule your session. We deeply value your time and presence, and it is our priority to deliver a unique and transformative tea ceremony.
